Pictures of the Children; We've Been Tagged!

Tonight the children are helping me explain the pictures. Here we go!

Miss Bubbly says: "That's Miss Bubbly!"
The Eldest says: "It's really funny because Miss Bubbly's sucking her thumb."

Miss Bubbly says: "We're playing outside!"
The Eldest says: "We were riding the broom because it was our horsie."

Miss Bubbly says: "Hey look!"
The Eldest says: "We're playing Ruff Ruffman!"
(Ruff Ruffman is a PBS Kids game show. The Eldest is a huge fan.)

Miss Bubbly says: "A pictures!"
The Eldest says: "The Eldest writed this word and it was great, so that's why I drew it for my Mom."
(She's learning to write, a little. I love how she draws her M.)
______________________________________________________________

I've always liked this game and Heidi tagged me, so here goes.

1. Pick up the nearest book (one of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the page to 123.

3. Find the 5th sentence.

4. Post the next 3 sentences.
5. Tag 5 people.

The nearest book happens to be Persuasion, by Jane Austen.

"...But here you are in Bath, and the object is to be established here with all the credit and dignity which ought to belong to Sir Walter Elliot. You talk of being proud, I am called proud I know, and I shall not wish to believe myself otherwise, for our pride, if investigated, would have the same object, I have no doubt, though the kind may seem a little different. In one point, I am sure, my dear cousin," (he continued, speaking lower, though there was no one else in the room) "in one point, I am sure, we must feel alike...."

I tag Ginna, Elizabeth, Anna, Laura, and Kerry.

Why am I not surprised that the book nearest you was by Jane Austen? Thanks for playing.

Oh man, that one was WAY too easy. I had it at Bath!

Oh, I see, you weren't making us guess. You actually posted the title, but I skipped it.

Hmmm. It seems that I would have to get out of my chair and walk across the room to find the nearest book, so I am going to have to pass on this game. Love the pictures of the girls though!
