The Boy part 2

What can I say about The Boy? He's turning, quite fluidly, from his back to his stomach. He's learning to be content on his stomach since he hasn't quite mastered turning back over. And today he had his first cereal! I didn't take pictures because I was having too much fun feeding him. He kept grabbing the spoon and shoving it toward his mouth, as if he was trying to communicate "Finally! The good stuff! Gimme!" We'll see how round 2 goes tomorrow, and maybe I'll take pictures, but round one was fun and a big mess. I loved it!

Now on to the pictures, because that's what you all come here for:

BaseballBuddies2
The Boy likes watching baseball with his daddy.

Buddies3
Miss Bubbly loves using her newly acquired reading skills to entertain her brother. I think he loves her energy, as well. She fairly bubbles with it, you know.

cute toes closer
These skyward-pointing toes are adorable. They are also The Boy's signature move--neither of my girls did such a thing. I love them.

TJ happy on the floor
He is quite tolerant when I have camera in hand and decide to create a cloud of spots in front of his eyes. This is my favorite photo from the session.

Pondering life on the changing table
Before we rearranged the room to put his crib up, The Boy was quite enamored of his view from the changing table. He would tip his head back like that every time we put him on it. This is what he saw, according to my camera:
TJ's view from the changing table
Colorful lines! What's not to be fascinated by?

The Perfect Storm
The Boy has the perfect storm on the back of his head, also known as The Continuous Cowlick. It's hereditary--from The Hub's side, of course.

LakeofDrool
One morning, I was holding The Boy on my lap while I ate my breakfast. Now, let it be known that this boy drools. Copiously. Still, it was quite surprising to find that he had filled his own belly button!

And now, some pictures just for the fun of it:
Smiling sling baby
(Boy loves being in the sling!)
TJFace5
TJFace7
(The bib? Is a complete lie. I've started turning it backwards.)

So there you go--a bit more complete documentation of my little man's life. He's six months old as of today, you know. Time flies when you're not getting any sleep!

Savannah has that cow lick too. I guess it's not hereditary from Mat's side. :) I love how he drooled into his belly button. That's cool that he tried the cereal and loved it.

Oh my gosh, he is just too fricking cute. I especially love the drool in the belly button.

Also, great view from his changing table. I'd stare at that for hours, too!

Yes. That bib is full of gross factual errors. Dang it all. What a kid that is. And I know a certain Nana who is in love with him.

He gets cuter every time I see him!! Thats adorable. And yes Caleb got my cowlick too. Its really a quite impressive one and the reason why if I ever go pixie short with my hair I have no choice but to go with that spiked up look in the back....

He's a cutie for sure. OH droolers. I hope he doesn't drool as LONG as Jeffy did, for your sake. My boys have that perfect storm cowlick as well. Good times during haircuts, let me tell you!
