Fours Tag

My friend Heidi did this in her blog and I needed a good blogging idea. This will be fun for me since I'm in a new place and forming new habits.

Four places I go over and over again:

1. Target, for most of my shopping needs. Plus it's about the only place I know how to get to around here.
2. The library, for the sake of the children's routine and for my own entertainment.
3. The family room, where all the movies and the gigantic flat-screen and all the computers are located.
4. My room. It's the place I sleep.

Four places I love to eat:
1. Simply Burgers. A grilled mushroom and Swiss cheese burger is hard to pass up! Plus they have fantastic seasoning on their fries
.
2. Mimi's Cafe. $5 desserts, including a brownie that occasionally rivals the size of my head, topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce. Mmmmmmm.
3. Applebee's/Chili's--I like their salads.
4. P.F. Chang's--the Great Wall of Chocolate is a seven-layer chocolate cake drizzled with raspberry sauce.

Four places I'd rather be:
1. England.
2. Scotland.
3. Wales.
4. Ireland.

Four TV shows I watch:
1. If These Walls Could Talk (HGTV--history of homes show).
2. Word Girl (I secretly watch it with my children).
3. Kim Possible.
4. NCIS/CSI: Miami/Monk/any procedural that happens to catch my attention and doesn't have annoying characters.

Four events from the last week of my life:
1. I went to the fabric store all by myself and looked at patterns for 2.5 hours
.
2. I continued reading my book club book.
3. I decided what my next few sewing projects are going to be.
4. I stayed up until 1 am every night this week (it was a dumb decision, since I'm a morning person).

Like Heidi, I tag anyone who needs a posting idea for their blog.

Thanks for playing!

Were you looking at home decor patterns?

No ma'am. Clothing patterns for me and the kids. It just takes me that long to sort through all my options. But a 99-cent pattern sale was not something I was going to miss!

I haven't seen If These Walls Could Talk in ages, mostly because they stopped showing it. Does it still air where you are?

Holy McMoly, I stayed up til 1 a.m. every night too! Bad, bad decision. I'm exhausted.

Ms. Abby--
I just discovered it, here in TX, on the ol' HGTV, so yes, they are still airing it. I'm sorry you're missing out!

Cami--
It's YOUR fault I was staying up until 1 am. I knew it wasn't my own decision! :D How can you influence my actions from so far away? Maybe we have a psychic connection....
