I have not been very posty of late, for which I apologize, gentle reader. I could offer the excuse that I have been buried in homeschooling books, which I have been, or that I am currently in Arkansas, which I am, but, as always, they are just excuses. Nota bene: I made the six hour drive--with children!--all by myself. Considering that driving is not my favorite exercise, it was quite an achievement on my part. And now I'm done tooting my own horn.
Anyway, I shan't be posting much for the next few weeks. Maybe something will come up around my birthday.....
Oh! Right. It's a new year. Happy New Year, everyone! My resolution: To be a better blogger once I have regular internet access once again. Thank you and good night.

Well, just know you are missed. Happy New Year to you, too!
Well, yeah. Mine too.
Oh, wait. Wrong blog. Gotta read this one.
Ah. Loved the "gentle reader." Don't read too many homeschooling books - it's really sort of an instinct thing. Just get yourself that Saxon math series and use the world the way the pantheists did - all that is there to learn is shouting out there for you to explain it.
I do want to have a general sense of what I'm doing, making sure I haven't missed some glaring aspect of their education, like shapes. :D
I will try to find the Saxon mathematics--they seem to be recommended by everyone!
Driving your kids on your own, you are a real woman now!:-) I have only done it about 5 times. From Mesa I drove the kids to San Diego,
Salt Lake twice, the Grand Canyon, and East Texas (21/2 hours past Arlington). I kind of like it, nobody is rushing me when I have to take a potty break:-)
Since when is driving exercise????
A mental exercise!
