Small Children Say The Darnedest Things

This is The Baby. I love this face.
My friend and visiting teacher wanted to practice her infant picture taking skills and I happily volunteered my infant because hey! Free pictures!

She wasn't pleased with all of them, but I found quite a few to love.

She's definitely one of ours!

This is an ironic statement on oversized baby headbands. Because, really, what baby needs a pouf the size of her head?

Same with flowers.

There are other children in the family, too, as I recall:
The Boy at the park a few weeks ago.

The Boy's vocabulary has jumped lately and I thought I'd share:
"Shoe?" = "Are we going somewhere? Am I coming?"
"Go!"= "We're leaving now whether you're ready or not."
"gaga" = sister
"vroom vroom" = car
"Daddy vroom vroom" = truck
"tweet tweet" = "I hear a bird."
"woof woof" = "I hear the dog next door barking his fool head off again."
"neigh neigh" = horse
"leeeee!" = "I was playing with that lid!"
"beee" = bib
"baby" = The Baby
And the girls are growing too. They're great helpers when they're inclined to be (whaddya know? They're normal kids! I have to remind myself of that sometimes) and LOVELOVELOVE to be around The Baby. Unless The Baby is crying, of course, or needs to be held so that I can do such mundane things as take a shower.
You'll notice that everything BUT Miss Bubbly is blurry. Usually it's the other way around.
Also, Halloween is coming soon. There will be pictures, especially as there is a Trunk or Treat with a decorating contest involved. You know I can't resist THAT.

Babies just eon't need icing, do they? There's nothing quite so automatically photogenic as a tiny child. It was fun seeing all the kids here -
