It's official! We have a contract on a house! I'll post pictures later, I promise. Closing date is July 30th. We can't move out of our apartment until August, so we'll be taking that month to do things like paint and clean and what not.

Here in Euless, so we get to stay in the ward.
Three bedroom, two bath, garage conversion that will make a sweet homeschooling/sewing room.
Decent backyard--a bit overgrown and too many trees, so we have some work ahead of us.
White exterior, blue carpet, some painted walls, some walls with cheap wood paneling.
The kitchen is HILARIOUS--metallic gold tile backsplashes, laminate countertops in two different colors, peel and stick vinyl tiles on the floor, gingerbread trim on the cabinets. I have some work ahead of me there, but I'm still excited for it--it has a big eat-in area. YAY!
So stay tuned as we document our lives as fixer-upper type people. I AM SO EXCITED.

Many congrats. Now I have only one child without a house. And am collecting nieces and nephews with houses. I LOVE having a house.
Woo Hoo! I love the excitement of a new house and all of the projects that come with it so that you can make it your own. I'm looking forward to the pictures!
