Note the clean face. He's crying because the food has not made it to his mouth yet.

Waiting patiently for Mom to put down the dang camera already.

This is not the refusal of food that it seems to be. Oh no. This is a desperate grab at the spoon to get the food to his mouth FASTER. The first bite was tasty, I suppose....

Delicioso.

So The Boy took to eating solids as if he had found his purpose in life.

Enthusiastic enjoyment of the oatmeal.

Patiently awaiting the next bite. Note the eyebrows. The Boy has very expressive eyebrows.

He decided he had waited long enough and started sucking on the tray. Plastic and oatmeal--mmmmm.

Again with the tray. Note cute chubby cheek.

And now you know that the food on his nose is NOT from my lack of baby-feeding skills. Oh no. He did that to himself.

Here's a little insight to our pre-dinner ritual. He's happy (i.e. not screaming) and entertained.
And to cap off our entry:

There are two things of note in this picture. First is the remarkably clean state of the girls' floor. The second is that the girls already know how to make their brother look oh-so-pretty!

I've always wondered how something so small could make such a huge mess. It's a good thing someone invented the bath.
He's a cute one!
That baby is just too fricking cute. Honestly, where do you get off?!
Also, he's a waaaaaaaay better eater than mine is. Wanna trade?
He is adorable!
Yep - that's the grubby little angel thing. In that last shot, he is TOO CUTE FOR THIS WORLD. You can keep the oatmeal -
He is a DOLL! I love a good eater. He looks like he had a good belch in the captionless one. Very fun.
