PINK Party!

On Saturday we had Miss Bubbly's birthday party. (She turned 5, in case you missed the memo.) Originally, I was going to do a surprise birthday party in a ladybug theme, but then I decided keeping it a surprise was too much work. So I asked Miss Bubbly what she wanted, and after some discussion we came up with a pink party (partly inspired by Pink Me Up by Charise Harper). I loved how the decor turned out, even though I'm not that big a fan of pink.

We kept it simple--had the party at a park with a playground nearby, colored pictures of fairies when it turned out to be too hot to play, decorated cupcakes, ate cupcakes, opened gifts, colored some more. (The coloring saved me--I expected them to play more than they did.) I do believe a good time was had by all. Miss Bubbly certainly enjoyed herself!

That looks like so much fun! I like the cup cake decorating idea. And your kiddos get cuter with every picture!! I think that TJ is gonna be a heart breaker when he's older. :)
