It's been raining all day. Quite fascinating, really. I find myself invigorated when I go outside to clear the drains and prevent the backyard from flooding.
Went to Joann's and Wally-Mart today and finished my Christmas shopping. Now I just have to *make* the things I've bought the materials for.
All right, the water's about a foot from the door and the trashcan is starting to float around. I'm off to clean the drains again.

Done Christmas shopping. Holy cow. I'm still eating Halloween candy. Fabric is so fun to shop for. I have oodles with future projects in mind. My husband insists I buy no more until I actually sew what I've got. Party pooper, such a buzz kill.
You know, last year at this time all of my shopping was done and the gifts were wrapped and hidden away! I haven't done a speck of it yet this year. Go you!
I do so love rain. Nice HEAVY rain. Not like we had in Utah.
