Time for a Poll!

All right, we've got some warring factions here. Some people say I should use GoodReads, others say I should use Shelfari. Sound off, fair readers! Which one do you use, and why? Is it easy to use? Intuitive? Can I import one list to another? Persuade me!

I'm on both, but I hardly ever use Shelfari. I have found GoodReads to be more user friendly, plus a LOT more people (that I know anyway) are on it. I think I only have one friend on Shelfari. Shelfari is more visual, which is fun, but not really necessary and sometimes a burden as you can't see as many books at a time since the graphics are so big. Doesn't take much time to try it out though, just to see what you think. Plus Shelfari does have a fun widget you can add to your blog on the side.

Definitely, definitely GoodReads. I'm on GoodReads, LibraryThing and Shelfari and I only ever use GR. LibraryThing has its uses (it's the biggest of the three) but Shelfari is just slick and shallow, in my opinion.

I use Goodreads, (as you know), but I haven't used any others. I figure I've found something that works for me, so why ruin a good thing? :)

Argh! I'm sad to have missed this discussion. I like Shelfari MUCH better. More user-friendly, adn I'm surprised to hear everyone else say GoodReads is more user friendly!! I want an actual SHELF people, I want to be able to make all my tags at once and make new ones without having to exit and come back in! I want to be able to put a cute widget on my blog! Very strange.

That said, I use both. But I update my Shelfari and then "deal" with GoodReads.
