It only took me until November 11th to figure out what my theme for the month should be: Thanksgiving. *bang head into wall* My neurons are firing, but they sure aren't connecting.
Anyway, I'll be spending the rest of the month posting about things I'm grateful for. By November 30th things may be getting a little crazy as I desperately try to come up with ideas. Stay tuned!
The first thing I'm thankful for is my religion. I'm grateful for the guidance I receive from reading my scriptures, saying my prayers, and testing out the principles my church leaders teach me to see if they're correct. They are. Every time. I'm grateful to have the Bible and the Book of Mormon in my life. I'm in the middle of rereading the Bible--I've made it to Joshua so far--and I'm enjoying it much more than I did the last time I read the Old Testament. Granted, that was thirteen or fourteen years ago--my attention span and my knowledge of Jewish culture have improved, which improves the reading.
So there's my first thing. I challenge all of you reading this blog to post something that you are thankful for. Consider yourself tagged!

Very good thing to be thankful for, and not ashamed of this month like some.
Nope. Romans 1:16--"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation unto every one that believeth...."
